I Am Against Initiative has responded to the invitation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan who today invited the representatives of the group protesting against the controversial pension reform to a dialogue with the government.
The group said it welcomes the offer in principle but will continue the struggle until the pension system becomes voluntary and not mandatory.
“We attach great importance to dialogue and have proved it with our behavior. However, we are determined to continue the struggle till the end as we find that the law is anti-social and inhumane. When the authorities express willingness to remove the mandatory component from the law, we shall be ready to start dialogue with the government,” the group said adding that all segments of society must be present at the discussion if it ever happens.
