Armenian chess player Levon Aronyan finished candidates’ tournament regular round. On the third round, our Grand Master competed with Bulgarian Veselin Topalov with blacks. The round was rather interesting. In the middle of the game the whites had advantage, but Levon Aronyan arranged sharp counterattack. Bulgarian chess player for avoiding further difficulties turned to shakh. As a result, on the 35th step general referee suggested a drew. Levon Aronyan and Veselin Topalov gained 1.5 points and equaled three leaders. But then Indian Grand Master Vishwanathan Anand defeated Azerbaijani Shahriyar Mamedyarov and headed the chart with 2.5 points. Other two leaders- Peter Svidler and Vladimir Kramnik continue the round.
