The biggest prisons for journalists
Four journalists were killed in the world in 2014 while carrying out their professional activities. In its table “2014: Journalists Killed,” the Reporters Without Borders has clearly established that the victims were killed because of his/her activities as a journalist. It does not include cases in which the motives were not related to the victim’s work or in which a link has not yet been confirmed. The murders took place in Iraq, Ukraine, Brazil and Mexico, with one journalist being killed in each of them. The source reports that media assistants are imprisoned worldwide.
