Levon Aronyan started his plays unsuccessfully in World Chess Crown Candidates’ tournament, which started today in Khanti-Mansiysk. In the first round, our chess player competed with Indian Grand Master Viswanathan Anand with blacks. Previous world champion started actively and took the initiative. In the end, he succeeded to surround black horse after which Levon Aronyan had to surrender on the 47th step. So after the first round Viswanathan Anand headed the chart, as another three plays were drew. Tomorrow at the second round, Levon Aronyan will compete with Azerbaijani Grand Master Shahriyar Mamedyarov with whites.
