Aronyan will compete with Anand

World Chess Champion Candidates' Tournament started in Khanty-Mansiysk. In the first round, Armenian leading Grand Master Levon Aronyan will compete with world last champion, Indian chess player Viswanathan Anand with blacks. Besides them, Vladimir Kramnik, Sergey Karyakin, Peter Svidler, Dmitry Andreykin (all Russia), Shahriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan) and Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) take part in the tournament. The participants will decide the only winner by two rounds, who will compete with present world champion Magnus Karlsen at the end of the year.
