Political analyst: No need to draw parallels between Crimea and Karabakh (video)
Armenia and Azerbaijan cannot conclude a peace treaty yet, says political analyst Alexander Markarov. The two countries have not reached an agreement on any issue as they have substantially different approaches. “Armenia’s position greatly differs from that of Azerbaijan. Our reality also differs from the false reality in Azerbaijan,” he said. Regarding the standoff over Crimea, Alexander Markarov said we cannot draw parallels between Crimea and Karabakh, moreover, Crimea’s sovereignty cannot serve as precedent for Karabakh peace deal.
