Armenian Premier, EEC official discuss implementation of 'roadmap'

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on Wednesday Timur Suleymanov, Board member of the Eurasian Economic Commission, who coordinates the economic and financial policy issues of the Commission. The interlocutors discussed the implementation of a roadmap for Armenia’s accession to the Russian-led Customs Union. Specifically, they exchanged views on services and investments, tax and customs policy, intellectual property. The parties summarized the interim results of the implemented work and expressed their readiness to continue consultations towards developing a coordinated approach in a foreseeable future. The discussions of the work groups are scheduled to be completed by the end of March. Timur Suleymanov thanked the Armenian government for the productive cooperation.
