Is demarcation possible in Armenian-Azerbaijani border line? (video)
In Armenia-Azerbaijani border the problems are not limited in ceasefire regime violations. We had 2 captives during several month from Tavush region Verin Karmir Aghbyur village in Azerbaijan. According to the official hypothesis both were lost. Defense Ministry press secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan says: “This danger has been during 20 years and we warned to be more attentive.” Verin Karmir Aghbyur village is not close to border though the pastures of the village are far. Why works are not done for strengthening the vulnerable area, Artsrun Hovhannisyan answers: “Full demarcation can’t be done, in order to be impossible to pass…” Tavush region climate and mountainous area don’t let carry construction works there, but what refers to Azerbaijani large groups penetration from this area, DM speaker excludes.
