Members of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) hail the cooperation between non-coalition forces. Talking to reporters on March 10, HHK MP Artak Davtyan said the cooperation can be effective in view of certain issues. The MP spoke against the creation of different committees. “I think, the March 1 ad hoc committee would turn into a political committee in a short period of time,” he said. Armen Martirosyan, a representative of the Heritage Party, agrees that political forces should unite their efforts in order to achieve radical changes in the country. He reminded that Heritage had made a similar call still in 2013, before the presidential elections. While Mr. Martirosyan agrees to the creation of an ad hoc committee to study the March 1 tragedy, he does not have serious expectations from it. “The committee cannot solve global problems. As long as the acting authorities remain in power, the political majority will refrain from disclosing the ten murders.”
