Vladmir Gasparyan receives villagers protesting power plant construction
Heads and farmers of several villages of Aragatsotni region, who blocked Aparan-Yerevan on Thursday in protest against the construction of a hydroelectric plant near their communities, today met with Vladimir Gasparyan, Chief of the Armenian Police, the press service of the RA Police told Aravot.am. Asked why the farmers were received by the police chief, if, in fact, they protest against the Ministry of Environmental Protection and other agencies, the service said Vladimir Gasparyan had invited the group to discuss and resolve the matter in a civilized way.
