Nerses Yeritsyan denies calling members of I Am Against Initiative 'ignorant'
Nerses Yeritsyan, a member of the Central Bank's governing board, denies calling the members of I Am Against Initiative ‘ignorant.’ “I have already said that the reports do not correspond to reality,” Mr. Yeritsyan said in conversation with A1+. On February 21, members of the initiative group entered the Elite Plaza Business Centre where the Third International Pension Conference was being held and demanded answers to a number of questions related to the funded pension system. The organizers of the conference forced the activists out of the hall and told them to wait until the question hour. The activists complained that the public had not been properly informed of the conference. During the incident, Nerses Yeritsyan allegedly called the group members ignorant.
