The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) has not made a decision concerning its participation in the March 1 rally to be held by the Armenian National Congress (HAK) at Liberty Square. Talking to A1+ BHK Spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan said, “I do not rule out the possibility that my colleagues or I may attend the rally.” Drawing parallels between the Ukrainian events and the 2008 clashes in Armenia, the BHK official said Ukrainians are struggling to change the foreign course of the country, while in Armenia people sought internal changes. “I would not like to compare the two events, but there is one major similarity. In both countries authorities heard first people’s request and later their demands.”
