I Am Against group members to attend opposition rally
Members of I Am Against pressure group will participate in the opposition’s upcoming rally to be held at Liberty Square on March 1. Talking to A1+, Artashes Arabajyan, a member of the Initiative, said none of the group members will speak during the rally. “March 1 is a day of mourning for us, and we will be present at the meeting as ordinary citizens,” he said. Ten people died in the deadly post-election clashes between anti-government demonstrators and riot police in Yerevan on March 1, 2008, in the wake of a series of mass protests held in the country after the 19 February presidential election.
