A kindergarten will be built in the village Sasunik

“Armenia” all Armenian Fund with the UK local committee financial support will build a kindergarten in the village Sasunik of Aragatsotn region. The program is co-financed by Sasunik municipality. The two- storey kindergarten may accept 90 children. Ground excavation works are on process. The former kindergarten of the village hasn’t worked since 1988. “Few people can afford taking their children to Ashtarak every day, with higher fee,”- expressed his concern community head Arman Margaryan. While speaking about community problems the mayor stressed the importance of irrigation system and village roads’ construction. The mayor noted that there have been 23 marriages in the village since the beginning of the year. The village Karin resettled with the refugees from Baku is also included in Sasunik community. About 4000 residents of the community are mainly engaged in viticulture and livestock. More than 100 people work in the wine factory of Sasunik (Armenia Wine). We remind that during the recent years with the funding of the UK, "Saint Mary" medical center maternity hospital’s room and operation room (2009), Kapan Medical Center's pediatric department(2011), Shengavit boarding kindergarten(2012) were reconstructed.
