Sochi medalists will wait until 2024
The International Olympic Committee's medical commission chief Arne Yungkviste announced, that 2014 Winter Olympic Games is the first tournament during which the new law of the international doping agency is exercised according to which the doping checks of athletes will be kept for 10 years. “It is not excluded that some athletes use such doping that can’t be found. Though, the doping discovering technology is developing and their discovering opportunities are increasing. By this we make the participants understand that even if they have used doping it will be discovered sooner or later.”
