Content of opposition leaflets already known (video)
Representatives of the National Armenian Congress are holding an awareness campaign on Friday to inform people about the March 1 rally timed to the sixth anniversary of the post-election violence in Armenia which left ten people killed in the capital. The group headed from Nairi Cinema to Mashtots Avenue handing out leaflets that labeled Serzh Sargsyan a “national traitor” who is accused of election rigging, misappropriation of public funds, denial of the Armenian Genocide, plunder of national wealth, March 1 slaughter, jeopardy of security and independence of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. No one has tried to interfere with the action to this moment. Ten of the HAK activists were detained by police officers earlier this week for trying to paste posters in downtown Yerevan announcing about the upcoming rally.
