Nairit Plant workers heading for Baghramyan 26

Armenia’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan has promised to pay the employees “Nairit” factory the wages for one month in the period from 10 to 20 February. He also said that negotiations with Russian-based Rosneft Company are underway and stressed that the future of the factory depends on the Company.

However, displeased with the Minister’s response, the workers decide to head to the presidential residence [at 26 Baghramyan] to continue the protest there.

Employees of Nairit Rubber Plant today gathered outside the government building in Yerevan, demanding their wages of 15 months.
