The well- known Armenian writer Hovhannes Toumanian was honoured posthumously on his 133rd birthday. The poet’s birthday is not celebrated in his named house-museum. It had stopped functioning since 14th of February because of the building repair.

The Linse’ Fundation financing is forseen for entire reconstruction of the building. The museum will be refunctioning in October. Today many schoolchildren have been phoning to the museum for organizing meetings to the poet ‘ s memory. But all the meetings were decided to postpone till October because of the repair.
