Citizens in Armenia have to stand in queues for several days to receive ID cards and biometric passports.
“They do not keep any order. Nor do they respect the laws. Nobody is telling the truth. They are playing with people, this is simply hooliganism,” said an indignant citizen who had been standing in line for long hours.
Under the new law that entered into force on January 1, 2014, all citizens whose passports have expired must obtain ID cards.
Citizens were also outraged at the fact that despite the long queues only one employee was serving citizens.
