How do parties perceive change of power? (video)
Head of the Heritage faction, Ruben Hakobyan, understands that the country has appeared in a deplorable condition and urges members of the Republican Party to acknowledge the fact and work together to find a way out. Mr. Hakobyan is in favour of the change of power and says they are now negotiating with the other opposition forces. “By saying change of power we first of all mean changing the entire system,” he said. Ruben Hakobyan cannot say whether the other three opposition forces perceive the change of power in the same way as they do. The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun believes that it is important to overthrow the Republicans from power as it is impossible to find a common language with them. “We need to mature for this. The point is that there are still people in public who believe the authoriries,” said Armen Rustamyan, Head of the ARF-Dashnaktsutyun faction.
