Today, during the GOAM session PM Tigran Sargsyan asked the minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan to give explanations concerning the situation in Vanadzor. Armen Gevorgyan informed that gas supply is recovering and residents used electricity instead, which also made problems. According to some information, water pumps were frozen and even the maternity hospital had problems with electricity.
PM also asked the minister of Economy Vahram Avanesyan to give explanations concerning news spread by media, according to which gas prices will rise after joining the Customs union. The minister informed that price growth will be up to 1.5 per cent. The minister promised to inform details later.
