Armenia purchased new military equipment
At this moment, Armenia is not concerned about the recent incidents at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said in reply to a question of Naira Karapetyan, a lawmaker from the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). Mr. Ohanyan confirmed that there has been tangible tension along the Line of Contact in recent weeks. “The number of shots increased 5-6 times. The tension was especially perceived at night but we constantly kept the situation under control. We shall continue to pursue the policy of punishing the enemy,” said the minister. Seyran Ohanyan then answered another question of the MP concerning new military equipment acquired by Armenia. The minister said Armenia has purchased new military hardware and will continue to cooperate with Russia to this end.
