According to this year calendar of Armenian Apostolic Church the 10-th of February is Shrove-Tide Sunday (“Barekendan”). “Barekendan” means “kind life”. Shrove-Tide comes before the biggest cycle that is Lent – from 11-th of February to 30-th of March including.
The Lent will be superseded by the most favourite and important holiday for Christians – the Saint Revival. Actually, the Lent prepares people to the Saint Revival.
