GOVERNMENT ANTICIPATES ECONOMIC GROWTH IN 20003
Support A1+!Armenian officials don’t doubt that economic growth in the republic is to be visible in 2003. Trade and Economy Ministry intends to implement state program on promotion of middle- and small-scale enterprises activity. Thus, putting whole responsibility for economic growth on these enterprises, the government decided it would be more generous toward them, allocating for that purpose 250 million drams from state budget instead of this year’s 20 million. The same amount is to be given by international structures.
Admitting the fact of misrule this sphere suffers now, Trade and Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan promised all possible efforts would be made to put things right. Number of middle- and small-scale enterprises expected to be increased in coming year, he says.
