“IT IS A SERIOUS ACHIEVEMENT TO BE A WTO MEMBER”
Support A1+!“Armenia has its economic policy and becoming a WTO member is within that policy” , today Karen Chshmarityan, Armenian Minister of Trade and Economic Development, announced.
He is sure Armenia’s becoming the member of that structure “will secure entry to a world that moves forward to globalisation, economic integration and free trade” .
Though it will be senseless to expect “entry to that world” through neighbouring Turkey. Turkey announced it is not going to “provide a most favourable regime” for Armenia .
WTO leaders can do nothing for Armenia in this matter. According to the Minister, being a WTO member raises reputation of our country by 50 economic growth – “thanks to export volume increase and investment growth” will be fixed in Armenia.
