DISCUSSION AT ARMENIAN CENTER FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES
Support A1+!Foreign economic relations’ system of Armenia which doesn’t exist yet, was discussed today at the Armenian Centre for National and International Studies. Representatives of 50 organisations were arguing of what kind that system having no conception would be. According to economist Tatul Manaseryan, even if the conception were introduced, there would be no one in Armenia to implement it .
“There is no state pattern in Armenia to co-ordinate foreign economic relations. This causes surprise even of foreign investors” ,- he says.
Under statistics, import volume in Armenia exceeds export one for 3 times. Participants of today’s discussion worry about the showing. They think import volume increase to hamper economy development in Armenia. Foreign investments as well block our economy development ,- Manaseryan says. “They are invested for political purposes, so lack of home investments stimulates it” ,- economists worry.
