GOVERNMENT CANCELS DEBTS?
Support A1+!Government cancels the debt accumulated by January 1, 2000 to water supply consumers . The bill was introduced by MP Gurgen Melikyan. Gagik Martirosyan, the Chair of the State Committee of Water Resources announced "Government doesn't mind the bill" . MP Gurgen Melikyan said total of debt cancelled will make 39 milliard 167 million drams
As the MP said for those having accumulated a debt from January 1, 2000 to January 2, 2002, Government will envisage a cancel mechanism for a 4-member family under a medium calculation. 11.300 drams out of 20.000 will be cancelled in Yerevan and 8.300 out of 14.976 - for the population of provinces . If a dweller has paid the needed sum properly, as the MP says, 11.300 will be considered as a preliminary pay for the next years.
According to Viktor Dallakyan, Government announces an amnesty to the population in fact . As MP Aramayis Barseghyan thinks, Government's amnesty for irrigation water concerns oligarchs only as the villagers has no debt to the state .
He also assures no concession is made for the people, "oligarchs just wash the money they have as debt" . MP Gagik Tadevosyan as well thinks there is no privilege, "Government just reconstructs debts" .
This bill will be discussed "at an appropriate moment" , too.
