Support A1+!"Midland Resources" Company, the new owner of Power Ditsribution Networks of Armenia is not aware of comments of international finance companies to the PDNs bargain. . Andrey Zavrajnov, "Midland Resources" representative says he hasn't heard of that the WB or International Currency Fund are against PDN deal .
It is known that "Midland"'s off-shore provenance seemed dubious to WB, ICF and Eurobank. Zavrajnov says there are many off-shore zones, "Midland" was founded in 1997 and is registered in James Island of British Kingdom and it is subjected to transparent audit annually .
The next weak link in PDN sale is that "Midland" is not experienced in power resources field . It has been functioning in metallurgy and agriculture spheres till now. To fill the experience gap, "Midland" pledged itself to carry out networks technical management through a company experienced in power resources field.
Zavrajnov says they will choose a broadly experienced company within a fortnight
"Midland" doesn't worry about the negative attitude of the Opposition parties of Armenia to network sale. Zavrajnov says: "Let the Opposition take any steps it pleases. But we want it to pay for the used electricity honestly" .
