ARMENTEL DISCONNECTS WIRE BROADCAST NETWORKS

The chief engineer of Yerevan Branch of Broadcast Network Gagik Aslikyan informs that Armentel announced the cutting off of wire radio networks starting from April 1st. Only provincial wire radio networks are under the control of Armentel, says Gagik Aslikyan.

Those living in poverty, lonely elderly people and disabled in particular, form the main audience of wire radio network, especially after the pay-per-minute decision is applied. Disconnecting the wire radio will result in decrease of job opportunities. The wire radio will stop having strategic role in Armenia, as the enemy can easily mix the information through FM stations, while in case of wire radio it is impossible.
